Que gran sorpresa la de ayer cuando descubrí (Via: Drawn.ca) que uno de mis programas favoritos de televisión del canal catalán TV3 "Una mà de contes" (Una mano de cuentos) tiene por fin su versión en la web.
En cada capítulo se narra un cuento para niños mientras en pantalla se pinta, dibuja, modela o ilustra mediante collage por diferentes ilustradores o artistas. Un festín para los amantes de la ilustración. El archivo esta organizado por técnica, titulo, artista. Si te apetece jugar, hay incluso un generador de histórias con textos e imágenes.
Realmente un festín para la vista, ya que el programa ha recopilado una amplia variedad de técnicas ejecutadas por algunos de los mejores ilustradores y artistas de este país. Altamente estimulante ver como las manos del artista se desplazan sobre el papel desarrollando las ilustraciones.
What a great surprise I had yesterday when I found out (Via: Drawn.ca) that one of my favourite tv programs from Catalan television channel TV3 "Una mà de contes" (A Hand of Tales) has finally its web version.
In each episode a children's tale is narrated while on screen it is painted, drawn, modelled or collaged by different illustrators or artists. A feast for illustration lovers. The archive is organized by technique, title, artist. If you feel like playing, there is even a story builder with texts and images.
A feast for the eyes indeed, as the program has collected a wide variety of techniques executed by some of the best illustrators & artists from this country. Although the site is not in English, you can easily turn on English audio and/or subtitles for each tale. However it's just highly stimulating to see the artists' hands at work while developing the illustrations.
